In my view casting Matt Damon as the lead was as big as mistake as casting black for white.
I went over his credits in IMDB and the only films that I have seen in him are The Departed, Rounders and the Rainmaker.
I tried to watch one of the early Bourne films but it made me sick “literally” as it used that herky jerky hand held camera effect.
There was a trend in action movies for a while when they would change camera angles every two or three seconds. I think that they thought it was the best way to get as much action into the movies as possible. It was every single action movie for a couple of years. I can’t remember when they stopped doing that crap. I think that was around the same time as I stopped going to the movie theaters. Now I might go see a movie every couple of months if that.
