In the last ten years I’ve only been to the cinema once.

That was to see Toho’s Godzilla flick.

It was excellent.

I was just reviewing Pope’s translations of Homer’s Illiad.

I think both are spinning.

More bastardization of Western History:

"Helen of Troy was described by the ancient Greek poet Homer as being fair skinned and golden-haired."

I was not that impressed with Nolan’s “Oppenheimer”.
The entire AEC chairman vs Oppenheimer was a distraction from what would could have been a great historical movie.
When the bill comes for this mess, Nolan is going to be done.

“ the same silly choices.”

No criticism of this film can really be taken seriously before the critic has seen the movie

Come on

YEP

I’m surprised they didn’t cast Dylan Mulvaney
or Sam Brinton

LGBTQ+ Allyship: Nyong’o has shown public support for the LGBTQ+ community, including presenting at the GLAAD Media Awards and attending a same-sex wedding in 2014.

The ancient Greeks imagined their gods as being in their own image, not in the image of Igbo tribesmen. Furthermore, the Trojan War of legend probably had a historical basis (supported by some archaeological evidence), and thus many of the individuals of legend were inspired by historical figures, who were Greek or at least Mediterranean. So again, casting a Nigerian as a Greek demi-god makes the same amount of sense as making a movie about the Vietnam War with cactus or the Grand Canyon in the background.

All the African scammers on the internet use profile pictures of White and Asian women.

I found Nolan’s Oppenheimer movie abrasively angst ridden. Full of long pretentious boring pauses where Murphy gets to fill the screen with dramatic sighs of moral concerns. The TV series with Sam Waterson was far better!

I read the book it came from the movie was a badly presented outline.

(I want to see a remake of SHAKA-ZULU
with some white tranny playing the part.)

I’m sorry.

Minnesota Democrat Governor Timmy Walz
is not available at the moment.
