Pratt's entire campaign is pretty much just walking around L.A., pointing out all the dysfunction, and educating us on how easy it would be to fix. And he's not wrong!

Karen Bass knows he's right as well but she doesn't care about fixing L.A. Her only concern is ensuring the graft pipeline flows to her connections (where it will flow back to her).

She won't debate Pratt because she knows she'll lose handily and be made a fool of, as she should be. And yet, the race will be close. There's a lot of powerful people with a vested financial interest in seeing her win. Their incomes depend on it.
