I did lots of stupid things on bikes in the 70s. Somehow I survived. Thoughts of those things still gives me the shivers.
Not bad, LOL
He said they would find a motorcycle off the road and the rider up in a tree 300 feet away.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Saw that happen in the Florida Keys years ago... A motorcycle with two riders flew by us and about 15 seconds later, they broadsided a car doing a U-turn from the west to the eastbound lanes. The passenger on the bike was on the shoulder of the road motionless but breathing... I called an ambulance and they were there in a minute. The obvious concern was to save the life of the guy that was in front of them but I kept trying to get their attention that there was a second person on the bike and he was way in the jungle somewhere. In the end, I fought my way in through the brush and found the guy and lead emergency personnel in to retrieve him... he was so deep in the jungle and it was so dense, it’s a miracle I found him. He was totally wrecked with bones protruding in several locations but he at least was conscious.
In the movie the biker would have walked away............
Ya probably wouldn’t want the risk of having any of his DNA show up in your children.
On a completely unrelated note one of my girlfriend's dads was severely wounded on Omaha Beach and another's father was a tank commander in France.
Interesting time to be dating.
Wow!
