The Curley Effect, coined by economists Edward Glaeser and Andrei Shleifer, is a political strategy where leaders use divisive rhetoric and wasteful redistribution to drive opposing voters out of a city or state, strengthening their own electoral base to maintain power despite causing long-term economic stagnation.

Bingo. That’s the socialists plans, and it will work in the end.

When all the City-States are run by socialists, they can pretty much have the leverage to either bring about a Revolution, or a Civil War.
