Oh yes.
Hijrah may also mean „voyage“ or „ pilgrimage“. Yes, but in this context, you are absolutely right 🙂
And the problem with most German bits of humor is, if you ask me, that it doesn’t work in translation…
Some jokes, however, are very dark- as a German, I would say that many of us are as melancholic by nature as the Portuguese are - myself included 🙂
Have a very blessed Sunday 😀
It remains important for us to see through so much media lying and 'enforcement' for states' elites' wants. Certainly the hijrah as practiced throughout "EU" Europe these last decades has been a European elite project. With the continuing growth of support for the Alternative für Deutschland there, the recent rise of Reform in the UK decimating local Labour and others, it seems the hijrah strategy is coming apart politically. Even Sweden is moving away from the lunacy they so embraced.
I suspect we are seeing a sea change now, with the catalyst of Trump-Vance policies being not the only play in the political theater.
Stay well, and laugh from time to time. Even at the dark jokes carry truths with sharpened edges, worthy of cutting through the BS.
