The Europeans (in general) have not learned from previous dabbles with leftism and totalitarianism. They seem to hate the principles our country was founded on. Why should we expend U.S. lives to protect that?

They will always hate and envy us. We shed their chains in the 18th century and they can’t let it go.
Protection was reasonable right after WW2 (not eleven) when reconstruction was on its way. But, generals and companies saw the $$ to skim and pushed for staying.
That time is done. Get out of the EU — they have gone commie and the regional political and philosophical ally is Russia. The only reason, ONLY reason there is so much bad press against Russia is ‘cause the HilaryHag tried to blame them for her loss to DJT.
They evolved into godless heathens and our pampering turned them into to spoiled, ungrateful children. Now we are dealing with quarrelsome juvenile dhimmis that resent us because of their puffed up, unmerited pride and lack of discipline; yet they pander to the muzzies out of fear and no religious conviction. We need to cut them lose and let them sink or swim.
We seem to be adopting the Euro-dhimmi ways pretty quickly.
