Very few 2026 Cubans are demanding freedom.

In 1960 - Cuba had the highest standard of living in Latin America.

Almost all of the Cuban business owners and professional class came from Europe.

When Castro seized power, the Europeans, many of them Cuban citizens for several generations, moved to Miami, where their children and grand children still vote like Conservative Republicans.

The population still in Cuba are African, Caribbean, and Latin American.

They vote like Hard Left Democrats - in Cuba, and also when they move to the USA.

I met a lot of Miami Cubans whenI lived in Boca Raton. Liked to drive down early saturday mornings, shop in Cuban area for interesting foods I couldn’t buy anywhere else and had a friend, Roberto, who was from Cuba.
