Hmm my understanding is that the. Pharaoh who opposed. Moses ruled about 1440 bc. And the Hebrews arrived in Israel about 1400 bc

Who was the Pharaoh of Moses is highly disputed.
Practically every Pharaoh of the New kingdom era has been suggested by someone,
Ramses II is the choice of popular culture, but he ruled too late to be the one.
Most likely it was the great warrior Thutmose III, who ruled about 200 years earlier, and whose mummy actually suggests that he died by some catastrophe.
BTW, the name of Moses means “son of’ in old Egyptian. Like the
Thut-mose son of Thut.
