So what? They knew before impeaching Trump that they wouldn't get a conviction, but they did it anyway. So obviously. you can advocate for impeachment even if you think the likelihood of success is negligible.
How about making a wager on this one? I'm willing to permanently ban myself from Free Republic if Comey gets convicted. If y He doesn't, all you would have to do is a 1-month self ban.
