I bought a pound of hamburger yesterday. It cost over $7.
Ah, The Villages...So many clubs, events and activities it’ll make your head spin!
“Another Trump rally.”
They still vote. So getting them to support the republican party is good.

The Trump economy is is going straight to the crapper....
Trump has become a man out of touch with the middle class.
I hear there were people lining the street to give Trump the finger. Not bussed-in Rats, but locals.
There’s a risk that Trump is spinning a rosy picture that flies in the face of people whose real world experience is completely different. If it were occasional, people might shrug it off, but he’s almost at it 24/7. I’ve seen a clip just from the last day or two, where Trump’s stood in front of a crowd claiming in effect that they’ve never had it so good.
I also saw a video earlier today, a short online documentary in an American supermarket - where the price of imported produce and products that rely on imports to produce is compared before Trump imposed tariffs and since. The wholesale price of some goods has gone up over 50%. That’s even before the supermarket’s set the retail price.
A couple of customers said that affordability is their primary issue at the moment. They didn’t mention government, they didn’t mention the President, they didn’t mention Iran or Greenland or NATO. They didn’t mention the border. Or ICE.
On X, someone’s posted a link to President Trump dismissing the affordability discussion, painting the entire subject as a Democrat hoax, or a scam. The replies include observations about his campaign for the Presidency, where he pledged to bring the cost of living down.
It’s been pointed out that the Democrats have the cheapest election video in history. Put a selection of Trump’s own quotes before the election and since into that documentary.
When “You’ve never had it so good” butts heads with “It’s the economy, stupid”, the spin doesn’t beat the reality.
This is smart. Seniors have done well under Trump and they vote. In certain states, they may be the edge that keeps a Republican in office. But looking long-term, young people really are getting screwed for the benefit of seniors. And I say this as an older person.
Everything is up under Trump! Unemployment is up, Fuel is way up, Food is up, everything is up under Trump... wages are down... Sounds like Biden these days...
Not sure “Knockin’ On Heavens Door” at the Villages is the best fit for a pre-rally playlist.
