Just a guess: Some professional photographers still photograph in B/W because they think it gives more character to the picture.

I don’t know why one is in B&W, or who the man is giving a toast(?)

I included it to show the guests and the dining tables area.

They like black and white ones sometimes. They think it makes them look classic. Politicians also like black and whites of them with a serious look on their faces. It’s all just showbiz!

It was just so shameful that we didn’t have a ballroom for our betters. /s
