Diana was chosen to bear him children but she was still a person who was betrayed deeply while Charles never cared a fig about her and was cheating with Camilla while she was still married to Parker Boles. What's done is done. The rich are different than you and me. I agree that it was a most distasteful episode and perhaps the most significant of Queen Elizabeth's few failures. But wearing a red letter for the rest of one's life is not done any more. We can only hope they repent.
