I figured it was a ‘Rex block’ because DT was talking about it on his ‘This Week in Weather’ video. He does a detailed analysis of what & why is going on. He’s a bit of a character, but a very good met - makes his living doing commercial forecasting (agricultural, grains, etc). Once you get past the ‘sick twisted weather freaks’, it’s all good stuff.

Hot Buttered Rum Coffee
Good anytime, but especially nice during the winter holidays.

Ing serve 4: 4 c fresh-brewed hot coffee 8 tbl salted butter 1 c br/sugar 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp
ea ground cloves/ground ginger 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg 4 oz dark rum Whipped cream garnish

Method Beat smooth butter, br/sugar, spices. Chill firm 20-30 min. Assemble: Layer in coffee mug 2 tbl spiced butter, 1 oz rum, 1 c coffee. Stir/combine. Repeat w/ rest butter, rum, coffee. Serve immediately with whipped cream topping, sprinkle of nutmeg.
