Thank God there aren’t any drivers who think that way!

The good thing about mountain biking on trails is you don’t have to worry about drunk/drugged/road raging/texting/talking/eating drivers. The only place i ride on a road anymore is a dead end one with 6’ wide shoulders. Still get nervous when a vehicle approaches from behind.

Yup. However some mt. bikers don't know that you should yield to horseback riders if you encounter them on the trail. I've seen idiots blast right past horses - no warning. Nothing. Yeah, great idea - Spook a 1,000lb animal that can kick you so hard you won't land until next week.

I'm lucky that there are a few dedicated trails for bikes in the area, but that's not always the case.
