In my prior post, explaining why I believe Obama was controlled by 2014 and removed prior to the Autopen regime, I believed Obama's intention to bomb Syria if they crossed his 'red line' in 2013, followed by his abrupt reversal in 2014 signaled the start of control. In that instance, it appears the military knew that the gas attack in 2014 (i.e., Obama's justification) was in fact a false flag meant to start the war. The military forced Obama to abandon his plans and walk back his assertions in a manner some of his cheerleaders deemed 'wishy-washy'.
I now believe Obama had to have been controlled from at least 2012, due to his (mis)handling of Benghazi. The US had to maintain a functioning military and Obama's decision, supported by Hillary Clinton, to abandon men to die in order to protect their Benghazi child trafficking operation would impair core military operations and the role of the US military in that region.
Our warriors and our enemies both need to know the US will immediately respond to attacks on Americans. Our warriors had witnessed retired SEALS with the CIA, willing to fight, abaondoned and killed the following day due to forced stand-down; they had to know going forward that this would not happen again.
I can't imagine how hard it was for the military to tolerate the sight of Obama/Hillary after this epic betrayal of core military values. We never saw the guilty arrested for Benghazi, but justice did catch up to both Hillary and Obama, along with all those who prevented rescue.

I don't actually know the rules controlling what those men could say (can't criticize the Commander in Chief?) but I do know Leon Panetta was evil. I believe that the military's determination that Benghazi prived Obama was a threat means they also would not provide him with the actual nuclear football, as was also true of Biden. (Maybe Obama never had posession of the actual nuke football?).
Hillary and Obama were not able to 'suicide' accusers in the military who stopped Obama from starting a war or sacrificing more warrior lives, so I believe the White Hats used quiet, legal, institutional means (not just one or a few people).
It appears Obama and Hillary believed they could escape accountability if she stole the 2016 election. I don't know when Obama was executed; I don't think even our enemies knew.
When Hillary was executed, Trump hinted with statements including, "What a great day that was." If the removal of Obama was remarked on with the words 'What a wonderful day', as was McCain's, then perhaps Obama was gone in 2018 when drops with that phrase were posted.
I believe the White Hats kept the image of Obama alive after he was executed because The (wisest) Plan to fight this unprecedented level of corruption required a figurehead to serve as Biden's handler, so that foreign enemies actually controlling him would believe it was safe for them to steal the 2020 election.
If/when the Cabal realized Obama was gone forever, they'd still want a domestic scapegoat for the public to blame. Those directing Biden or others (Bill, Hillary etc.) removed without detection (no orange jumpsuits), were not talking to Obama whether they knew it or not. For a period of time, with Obama 'gone' and some of the Black Hats unaware, there may have been opportunity for Q to get to know them better (collect direct evidence against remaining Black Hat controllers) through their comms.

Removing domestic enemies wouldn't end the rule of the Cabal; it had to be pulled up by the (world-wide) roots.
We've seen countries breaking out of generations bondage all over, and some countries are still struggling under bonds, but the Cabal's command layer has been decapitated, leaving foot soldiers fighting to maintain the remaining fragments of control.
