Mine was kind of beat up and rusty. But it was a convertible with a working motorized roof. Enjoyed that car for the year or so I had it.
Alas, road salt in Northeast Ohio took its toll and it was pretty old already when I got it. If I’m not mistaken, it was my “backup” car next to my 1978 Pinto wagon.
I got mine my senior year in HS. Bought it from a hippie who sold it because it needed a voltage regulator. New rubber, let my sister use it for college for two quarters, then got it back in the spring. Hit a light pole. Cop that responded asked if I was drinking, told him what happened and all he said was: ‘Wow, that really was stupid.’ Hard to disagree. I would have been driving that rig now.
