Sadly, the El Nino affect on Oregon is dry, dry dry...warm winter, no snow pack, barely any rain. It’s like Mid July here, not like May. 😯

That’s crazy. I think we must have had La Niña here because it was colder than usual for the last 6 months. Not a lot of precipitation but it’s been like early April here, not latter May. Very cool. I haven’t even planted my annuals yet because the nights have been colder than usual. Low to mid 50’s. No frost, but the transplant is shocking enough that a cold soil might whither them. Maybe next week to finally get them in the ground?

I’m still wondering if the big change in weather these last 3 seasons (hotter and dryer than usual, colder than usual and cooler than usual) are a return to normal (no geo-engineering) or if they’re three anomalies. We’ll only know if these patterns persist into the future, and maybe not even then. “They” have been trying to kill us off for so long using so many methods that who the heck knows anything for sure any more?

I don’t know about other places, but at least southern Oregon doesn’t have planes doing weather modification. No planes over this county ever; maybe 50 miles away there’s an airport, maybe people see such planes there. I searched to find out the effects El Nino, La Nina and ENSO neutral. I’m skeered of wildfires because of the dry winter/spring.
