I've been watching the welcome of President Trump by President Xi.

The military welcome was well rehearsed and nicely executed. I didn't see anything to fault either side with. I would love to be a fly on the wall during the private meeting between Trump and Xi. The only other person in the room will be Xi's daughter acting as translator.

This tells me that Xi doesn't have anyone else he trusts to act as translator.

I'm actually expecting a profitable meeting for both sides. Trump brought something like 16 major CEOs with him. The message I get is "We're open and eager to do business; but this time, it is on OUR terms."

I thought it was interesting that our President brought Eric with him.
Will the two offspring meet alone?
Are the offspring both there as a gesture of good faith?

Elon looked quite happy to be there.
