My grandparents had homes in Zebulon and Fuquay Varina. The ones living in Zebulon lived on 10 acres with a mobile home until my grandfather died. The area was 5-10 acre home sites with some farming. Now Zebulon is all development populated with people working with the pharmacy companies in the Research Triangle, all the acreage and open spaces have been gobbled up into subdivisions with high dollar homes. Fuquay Varina is now swallowed up by Raleigh and just another big city suburb. Haven’t been back to the area in decades due to family no longer living in the area, but can imagine what damage culturally has been done with the pharmacy companies using imported labor at the expense of American workers.

Besides his wife Vance is also tight with Vivek Ramaswamy who is a big H1-b visa supporter. Just because Vance is Trump’s VP does not make him Presidential material. Vance’s background like every politician should be thoroughly vetted by citizens. 2028 is a ways off so we will see what unfolds before then.

Do you know the Zebulon area before or after the completion of the Lizard Lick bypass? Do you know the correct pronunciation of Conetoe?

When I was getting ready to start UNC, my dad showed me all the different way to get between Washington, NC and the Raleigh beltway. He also introduced me to several of the State Troopers in the area.
