I saw Prine and Goodman together in a small bar on the northwest side of Chicago sometime in the 80s.

When I was about 17, my older sister had tickets to see John Prine and Steve Goodman one evening. Her boyfriend couldn’t go for some reason, so I went to the show with her. At the time I had never heard of either of them, but they were great. Been a fan of both ever since.
I never did get to see David Allan Coe, though.
