I just saw Fatal Attraction for the first time. There is a director’s cut alternate ending not shown to the theater audiences. The stupid police detectives arrest Michael Douglas for murder and say if his fingerprints are on the butcher knife then he’s guilty. “Nobody cuts their own throat to commit suicide. She was murdered.”
But he saved his life and his wife’s by holding that knife and struggling so he’d be doomed. Wife plays the cassette which shows the woman’s intention to commit suicide by blade so the cops are thwarted.
Lessons: Guys, be careful dating. Husbands: Don’t even think about adultery.
