The Villages?! Shocked, I say….shocked. /s
I know a guy who was a Sheriff Deputy in the county the Villages is in. While I wouldn’t necessarily call it a swingers community, he confirms that there is a huge number of very loose old women trolling for willing old men. They even have a code if they’re available for a hookup. When he told me this, the code was that they tied a toilet brush to their golf cart.
I’ve driven through the city. To call it insane is an understatement. Something like 100,000 homes, 50 golf courses. The footprint is so big the old people drive gas and propane golf carts. Electric doesn’t have enough range.
If you don’t golf, you simply don’t exist to these people. I don’t golf and have no interest in the game so there’s no chance in the world of me buying a house there.
My mom and her husband live a few miles from there in a gated senior community with 0 golf courses. I really like that place but there’s no chance my wife would go for it.
