Yes Peter Daszak is #1. I’m not going to name #2, because at least in the indictment his involvement seems de minimis, and for personal reasons (no, it’s not me). I think Morens and Daszak have extensive knowledge and might want to make a deal with the government in exchange for what they know.

Of course, you can count on the Senate Republicans to try to protect as many of the conspirators as Todd Blanche can round up, so nothing may come of this - but at least based on my read of the indictment this might just turn into a big deal.

Yeah, let’s see how it goes. The oldest play in the book is to pick up the lowest hanging fruit, in this case Morens, and squeeze until he gives up a bigger fish further up the chain.

Which, granted, is a lot of mixed metaphors.

Daszak is a lot younger than the rest of these mooks though, and in this case, that looks like leverage. Seriously, how much does Fauci have left to lose? Every day he spends on the right side of the grass is a gift at this point.

Daszak is 60 or 61 I think.

Get to him and it could get interesting.
