I’d be amazed if rescuing the Iranian people was even a fifth level afterthought. Not that they don’t count or aren’t important. It’s just that regime change wasn’t the primary objective. It was, at best, an afterthought. The primary concern was the country that has Death To America tattooed on every leader’s body would have nuclear weapons.
Regime change was the primary objective. The proof is that the operation was prematurely launched without our military bases hardened against Iranian counter attacks and military assets in place to conduct the operation. Now that that the primary objective has failed we will see this gaslighting spin and Mission Accomplished BS.
