Leftists move on from ‘nobody’s coming for your guns’

It’s bad enough when leftists lie. It’s worse when they openly tell the truth.

Leftists are no longer hiding their plans to take your guns if they ever gain power. That means it’s time to get activated in defending freedom.

The gun-grabber ghouls of the left have always played a little game incrementally demanding more control over a commonsense and constitutional civil right. Though they used to occasionally say the quiet part out loud, things have changed. They’ve never been as blatant about it as they are now.

In the past, the ghouls had the advantage that history had yet to be made in other Western countries, so they could brush off the very real accusations that they were ultimately out to confiscate guns. They could say we were being paranoid or toss off some variation of the infamous line that “no one is talking about taking your guns.”

But now guns have been confiscated around the world. Even worse, the facile promises of safety from these actions have failed to materialize. We now have the advantage of hindsight, to the point that the ghouls can no longer dismiss the gun confiscation accusation as “extreme.” We can now easily point to the U.K., Australia, and Canada, so they’ve changed their tactics.

The ghouls used to also wait for a “mass shooting” tragedy to advance their schemes, exploiting other people’s pain for their political gain. They are no longer even bothering to wait for those moments, but are simply pushing anti-liberty legislation as fast as they can write it. And so the gun-grabbing ghouls are seizing the moment — along with the property from innocent people.

5000 years of human history informs me that the relative safety I enjoy in America is a complete rarity. I simply will -not- disarm. 50 generations of my ancestors are screaming at me not to disarm and to have food set aside. Millions of Nazi dead victims and the dead from communist depredations ranging from Siberia to Cambodia to Poland to Africa are imploring me to just keep my guns against that day…

The revolutionary socialists in America would kill us in a ditch tomorrow if they thought they could get away with it. And the global leaders would fully approve.

So after the law was passed the manufacturers changed the names to “Target Rifle”, removed the flash suppressor and bayonet lug, added a 10 round magazine, made the folding stock solid as the originals were.
And the same bowdlerized rifles were still sold all through the ban. (I bought one then!)
After 10 years the law expired.
Now they are trying it again but different by banning other items.

Our local news chick told how an “ASSAULT RIFLE bla bla bla ASSAULT RIFLE!” had been used in a local crime. It was an M1 Carbine.
Back several years ago a man in NYC shot another man with a M-1 Garand. ONE SHOT! The NY Times screamed for a ban on all semi auto rifles due to one shot.

I meant that it only makes sense if everyone behaves in a rational manner keeping in mind what it means to live in a civilized community. I was not writing about the legislation itself. The world will never be a fully rational one. So the ability and natural right of self defense is essential. That includes the right to have firearms.

It saddens me when someone uses the terminology of the left. “Common sense” is a b.s. weasel word thrown around by the gun grabbers. Anyone opposed to them should NEVER use their b.s. terminology. The 2nd Amendment has NOTHING to do with “common sense”. Using that term in its defense is giving the gun grabbers and opening.
