we are not sure of his mental state - although i don’t consider it sane to attempt to kill a leader in a sea of Secret Service, police. did he have delusions of grandeur about being the savior to knock off this leader, saving the country? or was he swept away by political rhetoric and current climate of acccepting murdering someone as a legitimate action for settling a grievance ( a la Mangione)? we need more info.
