Let them consume themselves. They kicked out the UN and the French. Tired of any US money being spent on these sand peoples that embrace Islam and slavery. Farmers & Herders fighting and killing over water rights. But really, this has been the way of Africa, for 1000’s of years. We’re not going to ever change this part of Africa.
It seems an unimportant place for now, in terms of the wider world, but I suspect it’ll wind up in an odd role in various foreign policies over the next year or two.
