It may be a fact to the police in correctly identifying the car(s) driven by the driver(s) in an accident, but outside the police investigation it has ZERO relevance as any “news”. Drivers, not their motor vehicles cause accidents, and they, not their cars, is the only “news”.
I absolutely, utterly, categorically, and in no uncertain terms disagree with that statement and with the entire thrust of your post. I consider it to be pure falsehood, completely disconnected from reality.
