I agree. Unless the “journalist” has some appropriate, legitimate, animus toward a particular make and model of a car involved in an accident, that - the make and model should not be part of the “news”. In any accident 99.99% of the time, drivers, not the cars being driven cause the accident.

It is pertinent in this case. Besides the forementioned cameras recording everything, Teslas and EVs in general are much quieter, and they they accelerate very quickly. That information does not exculpate the perp, but it helps us get a clearer picture of what happened.
