The stomping on a victim’s head reminds me of the street attacks in the past. After the Cincinnati one where he woman trying to intervene was knocked unconscious and a man’s head was stomped on while he was on the pavement, the minority members in the council tried to look for ways in which the victims “instigated” or “started” the situation and thus were to blame.

The fight occurred around 3 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the intersection of West Fourth and Elm Streets.
A man in a white t-shirt was knocked to the ground and had his head stomped multiple times by members of a large crowd.
A woman, later identified as “Holly,” tried to help him but was punched in the face, causing her to hit the pavement, lose consciousness, and bleed from her head.
The victim, Holly, a single mother, reported suffering “very bad brain trauma” after her head hit the concrete.

The victim was ambushed by a group of teens who held him at gunpoint before attacking him on the ground, causing serious lacerations.

Brooklyn, New York (March 2024): A fight in Cypress Hills left a 30-year-old man hospitalized with serious head injuries after a brawl involving head stomping near a bodega.
There was also a widely reported head-stomping incident during a youth basketball game in Alameda, California, in July 2024, where a 13-year-old was filmed stomping on an opponent’s head.

Hot Springs, Arkansas Gas Station Brawl (January 2026/2025 Context)
A viral video showed a 20-year-old man, Noah Epperson, being brutally beaten and having his head stomped on during a fight at a Circle K gas station in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
The fight occurred in January 2025 (widely reported/updated in 2026), where Epperson was knocked unconscious, resulting in a brain bleed, skull fracture, and jaw fracture.
Portland, Oregon (April 2025): Police sought a suspect for a brutal, unprovoked attack in Oldtown, where a woman was kicked and stomped on the ground, sustaining head and leg injuries.
