Well, I'm curious as to why you posted. :D
Did they worship false gods or Satan? Did they advocate embracing peoples who sacrificed children to Baal? The verses I provided did not say 'You must not sin' because people do sin, and if they repent, are forgiven by God.
Elijah was moody? Mirriam gossiped and Martha worried? Gideon insecure etc. etc.? Human failings, all.
Jonah ran from God. How did that work out for him? :D

I think the point is that GOD uses flawed men to accomplish His work.
