Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe have broken up after nearly a decade together, the two announced Friday in a statement. The announcement was posted to the social media page of their joint podcast, “A Touch More.”

Just to clarify Sue Bird is or was the WNBA player and Rapinoe is or was on the US Women’s National Soccer Team. Rapinoe is better known of the two as an insane lefty. This is the first time I’ve ever heard about her partner.
