Shows you how little I know about Hollywood or TV production. I didn’t know Cameo Shots were decided on a High Bid basis. I thought the Casting Director decided who he wanted to have as a walk on character, then asked that personality if they were interested, former First Ladies included.

A lot of Dems must still be angry at the Biden’s for that botched campaign season. I would bet that certain First Ladies such as Michelle O would not need to Pay for Play. Michelle is still revered by most Dims.

I thought it was decided on the casting director’s couch.

$35,000 is a long way from $125,000. Had to be a lot of bidders over $35,000.

You're not alone. I always thought that if they wanted you bad enough for a cameo, they'd be paying you, not the other way around. Makes it sound like desperation, when you have to win a bid to have a cameo appearance in someone's tv show. And it's not even won on merit, or performance, it's won based on who the highest bidder is. Totally bogus.
