I did not know, didn’t know the Enigma Variations.

I do recall the musical score was strange to me, every time it did that time shift thing, the repetitive music (when the Spitfire was chasing the Heinkel) that made it seem interminable and raised the tension. Maybe that was the intent.

I've lost count of the number of movies that have used the Nimrod Variation from Elgar's "Enigma Variations." It's in the public domain, so no one has to pay for it.
