It’s this suicidal level wimpiness that makes me shut down all relationships where I have to hear repeated complaints about Trump
I think the warning letter is appropriate.
But the stick of operating funds for city safety I think is inappropriate.
I am not sure if Texas law permits it but it does exist in other states, the governor can remove a mayor.
In my mind that would be the proper course for a mayor that refuses to follow state policies.
