For the past 5 years, we have owed between $4-$5k every April, even though we both claim zero on our W4 AND have extra federal taxes withheld.
This year we owed $486.00. I’ll take it!

We normally pay about $1000-1500 every year but we usually get a refund from the state ($500 last yr). This yr, thanks to the BBB, we’re getting almost $5000 back from both state & federal. Hubby works in the restaurant industry & has a side business as a realtor. We’re both 72 so we also got the extra $12000 off for SS.
