I’m going with “Longfellow” as the name on the rod. I search for “longfellow fishing rod” leads to a listing on Ebay for a “Vintage Longfellow 2-Piece 66” Fiberglass Casting Rod”, not quite like your picture, but probably a newer model. I spent some time deciphering cursive writing in the archives... Emphasis mine, and THAT was one thing I was hoping for -- someone who could "read" the brand name.
