I’ve never heard of an officer getting an Article 15.

I have. Twice. One lieutenant got an Article 15 due to the length of his hair. Another was caught using marijuana.

This was at Fort Lewis 50+ years ago.

That’s when I was at Ft. Lewis, I used to go to the Shelter Half in Tacoma for the free food and political arguments about the war, and the North Vietnamese propaganda movies.
