Arabic plurals are often irrational. So Yahudi singular = Yahud plural. But there are also rational plural suffixes in masculine (...oon/een) and feminine (...aat). Greek Aorist tense is similarly divided between strong aorist, which have fixed declensions, and the weak aorist, which are sometimes totally different, or at least altered. English verbs have the same but less often, such as go/went, light/lit.
