Power supplied by hydro, Norway has more than enough of it. Forget about “Zero emissions” though, it is of course only for the exploitation part.
The ferries are not “flying” but gliding. It’s faster than boats and more energy efficient than wheels on road so going electric MAY make sense. Maintenance of the hydrofoils would probably ruin the whole shebang.

I am guessing that most of the electricity is generated through hydroelectric power plants. Norway has a lot of them. Norway is one of the few countries that has that kind of geography and climate.
