The Citizenship Clause is the first sentence of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which was adopted on July 9, 1868, which states:

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.

Do everybody a favor... Read the constitution before you start looking like you haven't when you make stupid statements.

"... and subject to the jurisdiction thereof..." you obviously don't know what the author of the 14th meant by that, do you?
