Tomatoes are a fruit.
Tomatoes develop from a single flower and contain seeds.

Conversely, strawberries are not true berries; they are considered “aggregate fruits”.
Wish I hadn’t read that, totally wrecked my appetite. Bananas already require a BARF ALERT. IF they have miraculously become berries, it’s the devil’s work. No more berries for me in any form whatsoever. I’d rather eat a cactus.
