That’s a straw man argument. Before no-fault divorce, divorce petitions were granted in cases of abuse or adultery.
And hopefully when changes in the law are made, women who falsely accuse their husbands of domestic abuse or violence or child abuse, get sent to the slammer and the husband may be granted a divorse (and full custody of the kids, if any), if he so wishes.
Bingo. A woman always has enough resources to leave an abuser without a divorce. The women I have known who are abused stay. There is something they enjoy, for lack of a better word, about it.
