Aren’t they valuable?
Seems like whoever lost it would want it back.
You would think someone would look, yes. But no one came looking when we made a report. Or didn’t care. Or the owner died and his kids didn’t know to look.
They can hop a standard cattle fence easily or just press against the wire and break it. So they very well could have come from 1500 miles away.
And they are native. So maybe they just belong here. We have a cliff where my wife’s tribe (Apache) just drove them off the cliff in numbers back in the day.
They are super protective of the herd, kind of like a donkey. So I don’t mind them at all.
