This is all confusing. I love Pete but is it open or isn't it? How is it a deal if they tell us they'll open it and we tell others to handle them not opening it. This sounds like spinning and parsing to me.

If they say they'll open it, then don't, we should bomb them for a solid week, then try again.

I know I need to trust the guys fighting this and their military expertise. But it's hard not to conclude that we're just being jerked around.

Run the ships through Oman’s side of the strait. Make sure Iran isn’t paid a penny. If Iran interferes in any way with shipping in an international waterway on the Omani side, declare piracy and take no prisoners. All the Russian Chinese and indian vessels pass, and a bunch of others have made agreementa. I know japan, Korea, Pakistan (?), Spain, phillipines.. I think they allow all Iraqi and oman vessels too.
