Iran declared war on the United States in 1979. THEY DECLARED WAR ON US!And they have been killing our soldiers,sailors, airmen and marines ever since.

The U.S. supplied Iraq throughout their 1980s war with Iran, which cost Iran several hundred thousand deaths.

I'd say the U.S. more than paid back Iran for the 1979 hostage crisis. Long past time to make peace with Iran as we did with Vietnam.

And long past time to declare our neutrality in the Mideast, no longer supporting any nation in the region.
