I have been trying to work my way through the Bible from front to back and am nearly done, but one thing I have seen, is that from the start of the Bible to now. techniques may change, technologies may change, and customs may change, but...human behavior with respect to evil is pretty much a constant.
They were doing the same evil things back then that are occurring today, even if other things may change.
