Now is the time for the UAE to get back those islands with U.S. help, and Prez Trump is undoubtedly happy to oblige. I sure do hope that the plan is to take Kharg Island, and facilitate the return of the 2 strategically located islands in the Gulf to the UAE which will also give us a base for operations.
Not only these small, but strategic islands do not belong to Iran, but the whole north shore of the straight of Hormuz was taken by Iran from Oman.
