But the "according to" Cairo ( or Royal ) edition of the Koran dates from 1923-24. The pressure of the Sayyid Qutb movement ( Muslim Brotherhood ) has made historical and textual critiques so problematic for Muzzies, because the inherent contradictions are rife. So modern militant Islam peddles political bullshit and calls it theology, relying on the many uninformed Muslims to march in lockstep.
